Biophilic art

Biophilic art is work that draws on the human tendency to seek connection with nature, using natural forms, materials, and living systems. It overlaps with ecological and climate-focused art. Interest grew sharply in the 2020s alongside sustainability concerns, with large-scale pieces such as Refik Anadol's coral projects using nature as both subject and material.
