Data sculpture

A data sculpture is an artwork that turns large datasets into three-dimensional or immersive visual form, using data as its raw material. Refik Anadol is the best known practitioner, converting archives of images and environmental data into shifting projected forms. His work Unsupervised, shown at the Museum of Modern Art from 2022, used the museum's own collection data as its source.
