On-chain art

On-chain art is art whose image, or the code that generates it, is stored entirely on a blockchain rather than linking out to a file held elsewhere. This makes the work as durable as the chain itself. Autoglyphs, released by Larva Labs in 2019, is an early example, with each piece generated and held fully on Ethereum.
